Job Requirements: Pensions & Investments seeks a Director of Content Solutions for our rapidly growing custom content business. The Director of Content Solutions will be expected to lead custom content related business initiatives for P&I, working with the executive leadership and the sales team on inception and creation of new products to delivery and quality control. This position requires excellent communication, writing, editing and project management skills. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously and adhere to multiple deadlines; develop client relationships as well as team relationships. The Director of Content Solutions must be innovative and creative in their approach and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving to fit the changing media landscape. Responsibilities Write, report, research, curate and edit content in multiple formats including, but not limited to: themed supplements, whitepapers, round tables, Q&As, thought leadership articles, case studies, special sections, web copy, blog postings, social media content and other communications on behalf of P&I Content Solutions clients Coordinate and manage freelance writers, copy editors and designers as needed for all P&I custom projects, and ensure quality control in regards to content and messaging for all projects Moderate webinars, round tables and other projects, including video interviews, as well as identify and manage freelancers to handle these functions as needed Build visibility as the expert and/or lead for P&I content solutions. Write promotional copy for webinars, forums and various digital products Identify, develop and execute thought leadership strategies and tactics on behalf of P&I clients Manage social media strategy for custom content projects and effectively utilize or direct social media tactics on behalf of P&I content solutions and clients Work closely with project manager to provide client service administration support as needed; including attending meetings and calls and assist with production schedule development Participate in new business process including research and proposal preparation in partnership with P&I Account Executives and Associate Group Publisher Provide input to Associate Group Publisher on how to continually optimize initiatives as needed this can be our product offerings or ROI for our advertisers. The Director of Content Solutions will be responsible for continually strategizing and anticipating when changes need to occur to provide best results for all parties. Stay abreast of industry trends and communicate key findings to sales and marketing team on a regular basis Demonstrate creativity and agility in identifying new markets, new clients and other new opportunities for P&I Content Solutions business Requirements Minimum of 8 to 10 years of content development experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills Bachelors Degree (preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related concentration) Strong knowledge of the investment/financial services industry. Strong understanding of the print and digital ecosystem (e.g. social, mobile, and video) Organized, detail-oriented multi-tasker who thrives in fast paced environment and has the ability to meet deadlines and work independently as well as with a team to service a variety of clients Ability to travel to develop content and/or meet with clients Must have a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude and be dedicated to consistently providing quality work
